“Modern Change for Modern Times”
There is only one problem with a linear, step-by-step, traditional change management approach… Humans. If it weren’t for the people, change management would be the simple and repeatable process we desperately want it to be. Meanwhile, we keep hearing that complexity and competition are increasing, and inherently, so is the pace of change. Yet, we continue to use predictive and sequential approaches to change that are at odds with how people change – gravitating instead to the comforts of technology-based change so that we can ignore that soft, fuzzy people stuff. At the 2023 AmplifyIT Conference – Modernize Change, you will learn from distinguished panelists and speakers about best practices to develop a better, more efficient approach to changing your organization.
Change Leaders Burst Session:
Joan Woldt, Chief Operating Officer at Bank First
Amy Albright, Executive Director at the Oshkosh Convention and Visitors Bureau
Jim Dobinski, Founder and Managing Director at Stellar Blue Technologies
Paul Cashman, Vice President, Sales & Business Development at Lincoln Labs
Hear from a distinguished panel of leaders from local and regional organizations about their processes of change and how they leveraged technology to help propel their organizations past specific challenges and objectives.
Wisdom of the Crowd Session:
Dr. David Gundlach, Deputy Superintendent from Oshkosh Area School District
Dan Shea, Owner and Master Electrician at Shea Electric
During this interactive panel session, Dr. David Gundlach will speak on rapidly changing technology in the education system along with the process that is utilized in navigating that change and Dan Shea will be exploring the latest challenges, opportunities, and innovations within the 5G ecosystem. Both speakers will highlight issues and challenges within their specific topic and call for the audience to help solve those problems.
Luncheon Keynote Presentation:
- Dennis Winters, Chief Economist with Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development
From where did the worker quantity originate? When is it going to end? What are some solutions? Dennis Winters will discuss what is known about Wisconsin’s worker quantity and what are some of the solutions for attracting workers. Microeconomic solutions won’t solve the macroeconomic supply challenge.
