Jason Mathwig is the Industry Alliance Director for New North Inc., the regional marketing and economic development organization for the 18 counties of Northeast Wisconsin. He leads industry alliance outreach and engagement efforts through strategic partnerships with regional employers, as well as workforce development, educational and community-based organizations. He also provides operational support for the NEW Digital Alliance and NEW Construction Alliance, including project-management oversight for alliance-based activities, and helps to address regional talent pipeline needs through collaboration with industry partners. Originally from Eau Claire, WI, Mathwig moved to Green Bay in 2014. He has is BA from UW-Eau Claire and an MA from Concordia University, St. Paul. Prior to working at New North, Inc., Mathwig worked in the UW System for 15 years.
