I wanted to join Amplify to collaborate with a diverse group of technology professionals and discuss ways to improve the Oshkosh and surrounding area technology space. 

Amplify Oshkosh has brought programs and speakers highly relevant to help our businesses understand the importance of technology. Awareness of efficiencies, risk and how to protect your business in this ever changing environment is extremely important. Building awareness and Connecting business owners to resources and talent that can help improve a company’s workflow, reporting and operational efficiency is how we compete and win in today’s world.  

I believe that the greater Oshkosh area has the platform with the number of technology companies, corporations and small businesses to retain and attract technology professionals to our area which in turn improves our community, and makes our businesses better able to compete, stronger and more sustainable.  

Amplify has helped to magnify this opportunity and brings us together to tackle these issues. 

Growing up in Appleton, WI, I always wanted the opportunity to one day work with organizations in the greater Fox Valley area. Amplify Oshkosh has given me that opportunity. I’m excited to work with local organizations to not only help protect them against the ever-changing cybersecurity threats out there, but also to provide education and career opportunities within the community.

Sadoff decided to become involved in Amplify Oshkosh for the opportunity to learn and network within our local region.  Amplify offers us an opportunity to make connections and provide value in relationships with others in the technology space.  Amplify has developed into a caring community that offers technical and professional support and promotes shared successes.

As a member of the Oshkosh Community, and as the Director of the NEW Digital Alliance, joining the Amplify Consortium just makes sense. It allows our organizations to work more closely together to help grow the technology ecosystem in Northeast Wisconsin and partner on initiatives to prepare our communities for the digital future.

I am looking forward to becoming more involved with Amplify as they work to bridge the gap between education and IT in our local community.  The world of Information Technology is constantly changing and adapting to the needs around us, and this organization provides a wonderful platform to share and create opportunity.

I became involved with Amplify because of their ongoing efforts to educate the community on the ever-growing ways technology is integrating into the business world and our personal lives.  The partnership Amplify has also built the educational systems in the area to bring awareness to the opportunities available in the Oshkosh and surrounding communities is impressive and I enjoy the interactions with these various organizations and exploring ways that we can work together!

I am excited to be a part of Amplify – the initiative to grow and support information technology talent (IT) in the Oshkosh area community. I see Amplify as an excellent example of a group of dedicated professionals who are making a difference creating events and educational programming that develop the understating of the importance careers in IT make within our area.

Oshkosh is a great community of industry, charity and schools that has spawned many great technology companies. Through participating in Amplify Oshkosh, I hope to attract people to the area and into the field of technology by turning up the volume on the message of the vast opportunities and variety of work available here in the field of information technology.

When I learned that the Oshkosh area is destined to be a hub of technological innovation and was known to hold nearly ¼ of Wisconsin’s technology jobs, I knew we needed to get the word out and connect our region’s business, education, and community with a tech-forward mindset.  I know that changing from a manufacturing, trades, and traditional education mindset and creating a community that behaves more like a technology startup will encounter some obstacles. I have a passion for technology, change, and human connection along with the knowledge and skills to advance change.  Amplify is a great opportunity to bring Oshkosh leaders together to advance how we address change in our businesses, careers, education, and community.

I am involved with Amplify Oshkosh for the same reason I teach:  I enjoy fostering excitement around working with information technology while doing so in an exciting city like Oshkosh, WI.

IT is a career path but it also includes the technology that is embedded in every occupation.  Oshkosh is filled with amazing companies doing amazing things!  As jobs and technology continue to evolve, we must all work together to ensure that we keep local skills current.  It’s a true war on talent right now and that will continue to be true into the future . . . IT/technology is a key factor to help our region remain competitive!

The purpose of K-12 education is to prepare students so they are able to create the future.  Amplify Oshkosh is about propelling our community forward by connecting people with the careers of the future.  Our organizations have an amazing, symbiotic, relationship where Amplify members help us predict the future is so that we can better prepare students to lead, create, and succeed!

I joined and continue with Amplify because I believe it is being effective at raising awareness of the IT community and business opportunities in the greater Oshkosh area.

I joined Amplify because I have a passion for technology, and I want to support the Oshkosh area.

I am involved in Amplify because I believe in the existential importance of business technology to our future economic vitality and because the emergence of talent to feed that economic engine is not a foregone conclusion.  I am convinced that Amplify helps Oshkosh become a winner in the battle of the economic future.
